As an Inside Sales Specialist at Core & Main, you will be a critical part of the sales team, managing projects, overseeing customer orders and quote requests, and identifying upsell opportunities. This role emphasizes customer interaction, problem-solving, and contributing to team sales goals in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Manage projects from beginning to end, learning the industrial distribution industry
- Assist with the sales process and identify upsell opportunities
- Oversee customer orders and quote requests received through multiple channels for all levels of accounts
- Interact with customers, build trust, and maintain relationships
- Problem-solve and be flexible to assist where needed to meet common goals
Nice to Have
- Demonstrated success working with customers
- Inventory sales/order systems experience
- Prior experience in industrial distribution or construction supply
