Traveling Retail Merchandiser

About This Role

This role involves providing in-store merchandising support to retailers, including building displays, resetting shelves, and tracking inventory to optimize sales opportunities. The position requires regular travel with overnight stays to various retail locations.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-store merchandising support to retailers
• Build displays and end caps
• Reset shelves with product rotation
• Track inventory to ensure stores and suppliers maximize sales opportunities
• Interact with customers and management in a friendly, enthusiastic, and outgoing manner
• Perform physical work of moving, bending, standing and lift up to 50 lbs
• Demonstrate excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
• Work independently and possess successful team building skills
• Perform job duties with a safety-first mentality in a retail environment

Requirements

• Comfortable interacting with customers and management
• 18 years or older
• Ability to perform physical work of moving, bending, standing and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Reliable transportation to and from work location
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
• Motivated self-starter with a strong bias for action and results
• Ability to work independently and with a team
• Safety-first mentality in a retail environment
