About This Role

MedSurg RNs provide comprehensive bedside care to a diverse patient population, creating and executing individualized plans of care. They also play a crucial role in preparing equipment and assisting physicians during examinations and treatments.

Responsibilities

• Provide bedside care for a variety of patients
• Execute individualized patient assessments to create an individualized plan of care
• Prepare equipment and assist physicians during examination and treatment of patients
• Prepare, administer, and record prescribed medications
• Initiate alternative action when adverse symptomology is displayed
• Change dressings, insert catheters, start IVs when necessary
