Provide direct bedside care to a diverse patient population within a medical-surgical unit. Execute individualized patient assessments and plans of care, assisting physicians during examinations and treatments.
Responsibilities
- Prepare, administer, and record prescribed medications
- Initiate alternative action when adverse symptomology is displayed by patients
- Change dressings, insert catheters, and start IVs when necessary
