About This Role

Intermediate Care Unit RNs treat patients with serious conditions, performing assessments, prescribed treatments, and advocating for patients while effectively communicating with all parties.

Responsibilities

• Assess each patient’s needs individually and collect relevant data, such as temperature, blood pressure, and pain levels, according to the facility’s prescribed procedure
• Perform physician-prescribed treatments and communicate effectively with patients, families, and physicians, being an advocate for the patient
• Prepare equipment and assist physicians during examination and treatment of patients
