About This Role

Seeking a dedicated Travel Nurse RN for the Emergency Department in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, to provide comprehensive emergency care to a diverse patient population within a Level III Trauma Center.

Responsibilities

Provide emergency care in a Level III Trauma Center and Level II Stroke Center
Float to other units and hospitals as needed
Work 12-hour night shifts, including every other weekend and required holidays
Adhere to Meditech EMR system for patient documentation
Maintain patient ratios of 1:1 for critical/trauma and 1:3-4 for other ED patients

Requirements

Minimum 2 years ED experience
BLS
ACLS
PALS
NIH
TNCC
SECURE (on site)
Willingness to float to other units and hospitals

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years ED experience; will consider 18 months with at least 1 year in specialty
