Travel Medical Laboratory Technician – Blood Bank and Microbiology

About This Role

Serve as a Travel Medical Laboratory Technician focusing on Blood Bank and Microbiology, handling generalist duties including specific shifts and requiring certain certifications and health documentation.

Responsibilities

• Perform generalist medical laboratory duties
• Conduct blood bank procedures
• Perform limited microbiology testing

Requirements

• Associates' level ASCP certification (e.g., MLT) OR equivalent registration (AMT, HEW)
• Primary Source Verification of professional license and/or certification
• Documentation of two measles vaccines, two mumps vaccines, and one rubella vaccine or two MMR vaccines, or proof of immunity via blood test
• Vaccine required during flu season Sept 15th - April 30th
• Documentation of TB skin test screening or negative QuantiFERON TB Test or T-spot
• Physician Statement signed by MD/DO/NP/PA within 365 days of start date
• MGB Criminal Background Check
• MGB Massachusetts CORI background check
• MGB Resume including past 7 years of work experience with city & state
• MGB Skills Checklist
• MGB Confirmation of Assignment/POI Form
• MGB Education Verification through background check company
• MGB SSN Trace must be run with Criminal check and list addresses/aliases for past 7 years
• MGB National Sex Offender Check
• MGB Exclusion Checks
• MGB FEMA ICS 100 Training
