Travel Director of Nursing (DON)

About This Role

Provide complete supervision and management for the nursing department in skilled nursing facilities as a Mobile Director of Nursing, demonstrating discretion and independent judgment to ensure operational excellence and adherence to policies.

Responsibilities

• Provide complete supervision and management for the nursing department to facilities as assigned
• Exercise discretion and independent judgment in carrying out assigned duties, including making independent choices free from immediate direction or supervision
• Responsible for carrying out the operational core responsibilities and policies of the nursing department, established by the company and facility

Requirements

• Current, unencumbered, active license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the states practiced in
• Two (2) years of recent Director of Nursing experience with a history of excellent quality and survey outcomes
• Understanding of federal, state, rules & regulations, and survey practices in assigned area
• Ability to travel, including overnight stays
