Join American Traveler as a Travel RN in Cardiac Cath Lab in Snellville, Georgia, providing critical care to adult and geriatric patients. This role is for an experienced nurse responsible for circulating procedures, managing dysrhythmias, and administering procedural sedation.
Responsibilities
- Work in the Cath Lab serving adult to geriatric patients
- Circulate procedures within three procedure rooms with five beds and an average daily census of 8-10
- Interpret and manage dysrhythmias
- Administer and monitor procedural sedation
- Utilize Epic, Pyxis, and SBAR for documentation and medication management
- Work a day shift schedule with four 10-hour shifts per week (7:00 to 17:30)
- Work every third weekend
- Be available for call 10 days per month
- Potentially float to a sister campus if needed
- Wear facility-provided scrubs while on duty
- Adhere to limit of 7 days of requested time off (RTO), and not request RTO during the first week
- Provide holiday coverage based on facility policy
- Ensure full compliance with orientation and documentation to start on time
Requirements
- Active GA or compact state RN license at time of application
- Minimum of one year recent Cath Lab RN experience
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- Ability to circulate procedures
- Ability to interpret and manage dysrhythmias
- Ability to administer or monitor procedural sedation
Qualifications
- Minimum of one year recent Cath Lab RN experience required
Nice to Have
- Experience with clinical documentation in Epic
- Experience with Pyxis
