Transportation Coordinator/Driver CDL W/ Passenger Endorsement

About This Role

The Transportation Coordinator/Driver is responsible for safely transporting residents for errands, medical appointments, and activity outings, ensuring compliance with all regulations and company standards.

Responsibilities

• Load, transport, and unload residents safely for personal errands, medical appointments, and activity outings
• Assist residents with boarding and de-boarding vehicles, especially those with special needs
• Track mileage and maintain vehicle log
• Maintain receipts for vehicle expenses
• Complete routine maintenance for safe operation of the vehicle and report non-routine needs
• Keep the vehicle's interior and exterior clean
• Comply with all Department of Transportation (DOT) standards
• Complete pre-inspections before vehicle use

Requirements

• Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with P (Passenger) endorsement in current state
• Satisfactory driving record
• High school graduate or equivalent

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent
• Prior experience with seniors preferred
