Transportation Aide - CNA

About This Role

The Transportation Aide-CNA ensures the safe and compassionate transport of residents to and from appointments and activities. This role requires professionalism, strong patient care skills, and safe driving practices.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport residents to and from medical appointments, therapy sessions, and scheduled activities
• Monitor safety and comfort throughout transport
• Observe and report changes in residents' condition during transport promptly
• Assist residents with ambulation and transfer using assistive devices and proper technique
• Monitor vital signs when needed during transport
• Assist with CNA duties in the facility when not transporting residents

Requirements

• Valid driver A's license
• Clean driving record
• At least 25 years old
• Current Nursing Assistant Certification in Texas
• Ability to pass DMV check and qualify for company insurance
• Completion of Employee Driver Proficiency program
