Termite Technician

About This Role

Protect customer properties from wood-destroying organisms by identifying and treating termite problems, ensuring peace of mind and comfort.

Responsibilities

• Identify customer's termite problems and understand termite behaviors to determine remedial steps
• Perform termite treatment services safely according to company guidelines and standard practices
• Apply anti-termite treatments to structures according to schedule, safety procedures, and label instructions
• Communicate critical conditions conducive to termite activity and discuss supplemental procedures with customers
• Verify job specifications for each work order
• Operate and maintain service vehicles and equipment
• Complete production forms documenting services provided
• Interact with customers and explain services provided

Requirements

• Clean shaven face for respirator seal
• High school diploma or GED
• Valid driver's license from state of residence
• Ability to tolerate various environmental conditions (seasonal weather, damp, dusty)
• Ability to work 20 feet up on a ladder
• Ability to work in small confined spaces
• Ability to work on roofs and high areas
• Ability to wear personal protective equipment (PPE), including an OSHA-compliant respirator
• Basic math skills for mixing product labels

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• At least 1 year of customer service experience; termite control experience is a plus

Nice to Have

• Experience in termite control
• General laborer, carpentry, cement, roofing, gutter, and attic experience
