The Lead Specialist, Growth & Development will actively participate in projects focused on aligning learning and development solutions with business priorities. This role involves planning and executing development programs, creating presentations for leadership, and assisting in the creation of various learning programs and training experiences. The specialist will help Deloitte personnel develop the capabilities and knowledge needed to grow within the firm.
Responsibilities
- Plan, execute and operationalize in-person and virtual development programs and processes
- Draft compelling PowerPoint presentations to communicate training plans, progress, and outcomes to senior leadership and other key stakeholders
- Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail when creating and reviewing deliverables
- Assist in the creation and development of various learning programs and training experiences
- Participate in or lead learning project teams to build positive, collaborative partnerships among business stakeholders, SMEs and peers
- Use critical thinking skills to identify, research, conduct data analysis, and recommend solutions to complex problems
- Apply project and program management experience, including organization, managing details, and keeping multiple tasks/projects on track
- Adapt quickly to changing priorities and business needs
- Be proactive in identifying opportunities for improvement and innovation in learning and development practices
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree
- 6+ years of professional experience in developing learning programs and training experiences
- Eligible to work in the United States without employer sponsorship
- Ability to travel up to 20%
- Ability to come into the office periodically for office events
- Strong understanding of adult learning principles
- Critical thinking skills
- Project and program management experience
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree
- Minimum 6 years of related professional experience in developing learning programs and training experiences
Nice to Have
- Previous instructional design experience
- Experience working in a learning and development organization
- Prior consulting or professional services experience
