Support students within the Career & Adult Learning Services Department as a Temporary CTE Non-Credentialed Teaching Assistant. This role involves assisting with either the Building Trades Pre-Apprenticeship Program or the Culinary Arts Program, fostering growth and educational opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Support classrooms within the Career & Adult Learning Services Department
- Assist the Building Trades Pre-Apprenticeship Program at Rountree Corrections Facility in Watsonville (Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays, 10:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.)
- Assist the Culinary Arts Program at Cabrillo College in Aptos (Wednesdays, 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.)
- Onboard with the Santa Cruz County Sheriff’s Office
Requirements
- Ability to work in either the Building Trades Pre-Apprenticeship Program or Culinary Arts Program
- Fingerprinting clearance
- Negative tuberculosis (PPD) skin test clearance
