About This Role

This role involves processing customer transactions, handling cash, and providing basic information about bank services while ensuring compliance with federal regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct appropriate teller transactions, including the deposit and disbursement of cash, coins and checks from checking and savings accounts
  • Redeem U.S. Savings Bonds
  • Accept loan payments
  • Answer basic customer questions concerning interest rates, service charges and account histories while complying with federal disclosure requirements
  • Issue money orders and cashiers checks
  • Count and roll loose coins
  • Identify counterfeit currency

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
  • Proficient general math skills
  • 6 months to 1 year experience as a teller
  • Proficiency w/Microsoft Office applications
  • Previous work in an office environment
  • Previous cash handling experience
