About This Role

Operate a customer service window, providing exceptional service for various transactions, suggesting solutions, and referring customers to appropriate bank areas. Resolve customer problems accurately and efficiently while promoting bank services.

Responsibilities

• Operate a customer service window to provide exceptional customer service on a variety of transactions
• Suggest solutions and options to customers and refer them to appropriate areas of the bank
• Resolve customer problems/issues/concerns in an accurate and efficient manner
• Develop a strong knowledge of policies, procedures, and bank products/services
• Establish accuracy and balancing skills by maintaining a balancing rate of 85%
• Utilize computer systems to identify customers, verify authenticity, and protect against fraud
• Accept deposits, verify endorsements, and issue receipts
• Accept checks for cashing, identifying customers and verifying endorsements
• Provide additional customer services, including bank money orders and other services
• Balance cash drawer daily and assist in ATM and vault balancing

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• One to two years general experience
• Successful completion of the retail training program
• Flexibility around branch hours
