About This Role

Process member transactions accurately, balance daily transactions, and actively cross-sell credit union products and services while maintaining exceptional member service.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of member transactions accurately, timely, and confidentially
• Balance each day’s transactions and verify cash totals
• Adhere to all authorized cash and transaction limits
• Maintain security of all cash and negotiable instruments and ensure accurate cash handling
• Actively cross-sell credit union products and services
• Perform routine teller services and account maintenance
• Complete daily, weekly, or monthly balancing sheets, night drop and mail depository log, and daily timecard management
• Answer incoming calls and assist with specific inquiries
• Educate members on emerging Credit Union technology and digital solutions
• Report suspicious activity to the BSA Officer

Requirements

• Minimum of 12 months of retail or customer service experience
• High school education or GED
• Strong written, oral, and interpersonal skills
• Detail oriented, organized, accurate, able to work under pressure
• Ability to adapt to change and problem-solving skills
• Good judgment and decision-making skills
• Ability to work and build relationships with people across a wide variety of dispositions and personalities
• Ability to analyze member needs and make appropriate product/service recommendations
• Strong technology capabilities

Qualifications

• A high school education or GED
• A minimum of 12 months of retail or customer service experience, preferably in a bank/credit union environment
