About This Role

As the face of First Hawaiian Bank, you will provide exceptional customer service, accurately process financial transactions, and maintain a thorough understanding of products and services at the Kaneohe Bay branch.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to clients
• Process financial transactions accurately and efficiently
• Maintain a thorough understanding of bank products and services
• Serve diverse group of customers, from individuals opening their first checking account to seasoned investors
• Perform basic mathematical calculations and balance cash with the assistance of a calculator

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• One year of experience in cash handling
• One year of experience in customer service
• Knowledge of the financial services industry (e.g., retail, mortgage/loans/deposits, and wholesale banking)
• Pleasant and tactful demeanor when interacting with customers
• Good oral and interpersonal communication skills
• Attention to detail and ability to use judgment and discretion regarding customer transactions and confidential information
• Able to handle confidential matters judiciously
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations and balance cash with the assistance of a calculator
• Possess sales skills to enhance business development opportunities

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• One year of experience in cash handling and one year of experience in customer service
