Teller

About This Role

As a Teller at First Commonwealth Bank, you will uphold the mission to enhance the financial well-being of customers by delivering exceptional service and proactively identifying financial solutions. This role focuses heavily on ensuring operational compliance and security while building and deepening customer relationships.

Responsibilities

• Protect the privacy and security of customers' financial information
• Process daily transactions and monitor for fraud
• Adhere to proper cash handling, teller difference, and dual control guidelines
• Maintain appropriate cash limits for drawer, vault, and total FSC
• Mitigate risk by following FCB policies, procedures, and processes
• Engage with customers on inbound calls and at the drive-thru to establish and grow relationships
• Utilize marketing campaigns to promote products and services
• Conduct service-related outbound calls to deepen existing customer relationships
• Identify partner referrals and uncover non-real estate secured lending opportunities
• Take ownership of personal development, including completing Pathways and required training

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 2+ years of experience in a client-centric sales environment with a proven track record of exceeding assigned goals
• Excellent communication skills
• Passion for helping others and motivation to learn
• Solutions-based sales skills
• Professionalism and resourcefulness
• Exceptional relationship-building skills
• Ability to excel in a complex and dynamic environment
• Technologically savvy (Microsoft Office, Internet, mobile technology, bank systems)
• Valid driver’s license and ability/willingness to travel regionally

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or equivalent
• Two (2) or more years of relevant experience in a client-centric sales environment with a proven track record of exceeding assigned goals, delivering a high level of client service and adhering to operational expectations.
