Teller

About This Role

Cultivate customer relationships and promote banking products and services by engaging in conversations and making referrals. Perform various customer service and operational duties including transactions for checking, savings, and loans. Build positive client relations and maintain knowledge of bank policies.

Responsibilities

• Handle complex client issues while executing excellent customer service principles
• Explain Bank policy and procedures to customers
• Assist clients with digital engagement and satisfaction
• Cross-sell and refer non-traditional Bank products (e.g., insurance & investments) to meet established goals
• Participate in outbound calling campaigns
• Identify opportunities when processing transactions to meet clients’ needs and refer to bankers
• Execute an extensive variety of customer transactions in accordance with Bank policy and procedures
• Maintain working knowledge of all products offered by the Bank and corresponding policies and procedures
• Handle large amounts of cash in an organized, timely and accurate fashion
• Balance own cash drawer daily within the prescribed balancing guidelines

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Cash handling experience
• Customer service skills
• Communication skills
• Basic computer skills
• Interpersonal skills

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Prior transaction or teller experience preferred; Prior customer service experience preferred; Cash handling experience
