About This Role

This role is responsible for engaging individuals via phone, educating them on insurance plans, assisting with enrollment, and ensuring compliance with CMS standards, requiring an active health insurance license.

Responsibilities

  • Place and answer inbound and outbound telephone calls from/to potential customers
  • Assist customers with decisions regarding insurance plans and products
  • Follow up on leads provided
  • Generate letters to prospective customers
  • Process applications and prepare marketing/information packets

Requirements

  • Working knowledge of word processing software
  • Good judgment skills
  • Effective presentation skills
  • Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills
  • Effective organizational skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent

Nice to Have

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 6 months sales experience
  • Working knowledge of spreadsheet and database software
  • Effective customer service skills
  • Analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to persuade, negotiate, or influence others
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Access, or other spreadsheet/database software
