This role is responsible for engaging individuals via phone, educating them on insurance plans, assisting with enrollment, and ensuring compliance with CMS standards, requiring an active health insurance license.
Responsibilities
- Place and answer inbound and outbound telephone calls from/to potential customers
- Assist customers with decisions regarding insurance plans and products
- Follow up on leads provided
- Generate letters to prospective customers
- Process applications and prepare marketing/information packets
Requirements
- Working knowledge of word processing software
- Good judgment skills
- Effective presentation skills
- Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills
- Effective organizational skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
Nice to Have
- Bachelor's Degree
- 6 months sales experience
- Working knowledge of spreadsheet and database software
- Effective customer service skills
- Analytical and critical thinking skills
- Ability to persuade, negotiate, or influence others
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Access, or other spreadsheet/database software
