About This Role

Respond to customer inquiries and resolve issues accurately, thoroughly, and courteously. Document interactions and coordinate with other departments as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Respond accurately, timely, and courteously to telephone, written, web, or walk-in customer inquiries
  • Accurately document customer inquiries
  • Initiate or process adjustments and perform research to resolve inquiries
  • Coordinate with other departments to resolve problems
  • Respond, research, and assist with priority inquiries and special projects
  • Provide feedback to management regarding customer problems, questions, and needs
  • Maintain accurate records on complaints and other customer comments, making recommendations for changes
  • Follow through on complaints until resolved or reported to management
  • Maintain basic knowledge of quality work instructions and company policies
  • Identify and promptly report suspected fraudulent activities and system errors

  • Strong customer service skills
  • Ability to learn and operate multiple computer systems effectively and efficiently
  • Basic computer operating skills
  • Proficiency with standard office equipment

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Entry level position, 2 years of customer service or call center experience preferred but not required.

Nice to Have

  • Associate degree
  • Two years of customer service or call center experience
  • Knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, and database software
