Technology Strategy Senior Consultant

About This Role

This role will develop technology strategies to enhance company profitability and growth, ensuring alignment of platforms, architectures, and operating models with business objectives. The senior consultant will manage day-to-day client relationships and team activities on strategic technology engagements.

Responsibilities

• Develop technology strategies to increase profitability, catalyze growth, and deliver value
• Determine platforms to adopt, architectures to build, and ways of working to change for efficient scale
• Craft quality deliverables and effectively manage the team and day-to-day relationships on engagements
• Synthesize overall strategy by analyzing solutions and selecting relevant tools/techniques to meet client requirements
• Participate in setting engagement objectives and scope
• Develop work plans for components of engagements and coordinate activities between work streams
• Design deliverable content to reflect engagement contract and client needs
• Strive to improve deliverable quality through verification and validation of results

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree
• 5+ years consulting and/or industry experience
• 2+ years of experience creating project materials (roadmaps, presentations, business case, transformation plans)
• Participation in projects involving IT Strategy, Cloud Strategy, Platform Strategy, IT Outsourcing Advisory, or Digital Transformation Architecture Blueprinting and Roadmaps
• Experience with Digital Technology Spend Optimization, Current State IT Capability Assessment, Future State IT Capability Design, IT Transformation Roadmap Development, or IT Service Management Assessment
• Experience with Application Assessment, Data Management Strategy, IT Process and Tool Deployment, IT Cost Optimization, or IT Service Delivery and Outsourcing Assessment
• Experience with IT Governance, Operating Model, and Delivery Model Assessment, IT Financial Management Analysis
• Familiarity with Process Frameworks: IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL), ISO 20000, COBiT
• Expertise in ITIL: Service Strategy, Service Design, Service Transition, Service Operation, Continual Service Improvement and their processes

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree
• 5+ years consulting and/or industry experience with 2+ years creating project materials

Nice to Have

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple task assignments
• Experience working with cloud (IaaS/PaaS/SaaS/BPaaS), digital, and analytics solutions
• Advanced degree in the area of specialization (MBA Preferred)
