About This Role

The Technology Strategy Manager will guide clients through critical transformational initiatives, from strategy to execution, focusing on technology to drive growth and enterprise value. This role involves shaping and executing robust strategies for technology choices, operating models, and capability improvements, while managing teams and client relationships.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, making data-driven choices to drive growth and enterprise value
  • Shape and execute robust strategies related to technology choices, platforms, engineered solutions, infrastructure, and operating models
  • Develop technology strategies to increase company profitability, catalyze growth, and deliver value to stakeholders
  • Determine platforms to adopt, architectures to build, ways of working to change, and capabilities improvements required for efficient scale
  • Craft quality deliverables and effectively manage teams and day-to-day client relationships
  • Participate in the development and presentation of proposals for business development activities

Requirements

  • 6+ years of management consulting experience focused on technology strategy and technology transformation
  • 6+ years of experience crafting and implementing strategies for growth and technology transformation at the corporate, business, or product level
  • 6+ years of experience using analytical methods and tools to create project analysis and recommendation support
  • 4+ years of experience creating client-ready materials (roadmaps, presentations, business cases, transformation plans)
  • 4+ years of experience managing and delivering large, complex technology engagements and critical programs
  • 4+ years of experience leading a team and influencing others
  • Participation in 4 or more projects involving: Technology strategy definition / IT Strategy, cloud strategy, platform strategy, vendor selection, IT cost optimization and effectiveness, IT service delivery and technology outsourcing advisory, technology capability and skillset assessments, digital transformation architecture blueprinting and roadmaps, digital technology spend optimization, IT transformation roadmap development, IT service management assessment, data management strategy and architecture, IT process and tool deployment, IT governance, operating model and delivery model assessment, IT financial management analysis, and enterprise and solution architecture
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university with strong undergraduate academic record
  • Possess strong program management skills
  • Exhibit a passion for technology and continuous learning
  • Possess excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Possess ability to influence others, lead teams, and mentor junior staff
  • Have strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to exercise mature judgment

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university
  • 6+ years of management consulting experience focused on technology strategy and transformation, along with 4+ years creating client-ready materials and managing large, complex technology engagements.

Nice to Have

  • Undergraduate degree with a focus on Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Technology, or Systems Engineering
  • Advanced degree in business (i.e., MBA) or area of specialization
  • 6+ years of experience leading technology issues and trends, including business implications within one or more industries
  • 6+ years of experience in the consulting services sales pursuit & proposal process
  • 6+ years of experience with Scenario Planning/Modeling
  • Knowledge of or experience in broader G&A functions (e.g., HR, IT, Finance, Procurement, Commercial Operations)
  • Basic understanding of core digital technologies that underpin world-class customer experiences (e.g., CRM, E-Commerce, Content Management)
