Technology Strategy Manager

About This Role

As a Technology Strategy Manager at Deloitte, you will serve as a trusted advisor to clients, guiding them through critical technology choices and transformational initiatives. You will develop strategies to enhance profitability and growth, ensuring technology investments align with commercial ambitions and deliver sustainable value across the organization.

Responsibilities

• Serve as trusted advisors to clients, working with them to make clear data-driven choices about where to play and how to win
• Help enterprise leaders shape and execute robust strategies to navigate consequential technology choices
• Develop technology strategies to increase a company's profitability, catalyze growth, and deliver value across the stakeholder set
• Determine platforms to adopt, architectures to build, ways of working to change, and capabilities improvements required for efficient scale
• Craft quality deliverables and effectively manage the team and day-to-day relationships
• Participate in the development and presentation of proposals for business development activities
• Align technology investments with commercial ambitions to drive enterprise value
• Develop fit-for-purpose operating models balanced between platform, product, and engineering centricity
• Apply AI to reinvent the enterprise, from productivity to revenue growth
• Transform IT operations and financial management to improve spend, performance, and resilience
• Upskill talent to adopt digital and AI solutions at scale and speed

Requirements

• 6+ years of management consulting experience focused on technology strategy and technology transformation
• 6+ years of experience crafting and implementing strategies for growth and technology transformation at the corporate, business, or product level
• 6+ years of experience using analytical methods and tools to create project analysis and recommendation support
• 4+ years of experience creating client-ready materials (roadmaps, presentations, business cases, business process, and technology transformation plans)
• 4+ years of experience managing and delivering large, complex technology engagements (minimum of 2 full life cycle implementation) and critical programs
• 4+ years of experience leading a team and influencing others
• Participation in 4 or more projects involving IT Strategy, cloud strategy, platform strategy, or vendor selection
• Experience with Process Frameworks: IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL), ISO 20000, COBiT
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university with strong undergraduate academic record

• 6+ years of management consulting experience focused on technology strategy and technology transformation; 6+ years experience crafting and implementing growth and technology transformation strategies; 4+ years managing and delivering large, complex technology engagements

Nice to Have

• Undergraduate degree with focus on Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Technology, Systems Engineering or equivalent
• Advanced degree in business (i.e., MBA) or area of specialization
• 6+ years of experience leading technology issues and trends, including the associated business implications within one or more industries
• 6+ years of experience in the consulting services sales pursuit & proposal process
• 6+ years of experience with Scenario Planning/Modeling
• Knowledge of or experience in broader G&A functions (i.e., HR, IT, Finance, Procurement, Commercial Operations)
• Basic understanding of core digital technologies (e.g., CRM, E-Commerce, Content Management)
