Technology Strategy Manager

About This Role

Guide clients through critical moments and transformational initiatives, delivering integrated, end-to-end support in technology strategy and transformation. Serve as a trusted advisor, helping clients make data-driven decisions on technology choices to drive growth and enterprise value.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a trusted advisor to clients on technology strategy and transformation
• Work with enterprise leaders to shape and execute robust technology strategies
• Develop technology strategies to increase company profitability and catalyze growth
• Determine platforms, architectures, operating models, and capability improvements
• Craft quality deliverables and manage team and day-to-day client relationships
• Lead and influence teams, mentoring junior staff
• Participate in the development and presentation of proposals for business development activities

Requirements

• 6+ years of management consulting experience focused on technology strategy and technology transformation
• 6+ years of experience crafting and implementing strategies for growth and technology transformation at the corporate, business, or product level
• 6+ years of experience using analytical methods and tools to create project analysis and recommendation support
• 4+ years of experience creating client-ready materials including roadmaps, presentations (PowerPoint), business case, business process, and technology transformation plans
• 4+ years of experience managing and delivering large, complex technology engagements (minimum of 2 full life cycle implementation) and critical programs
• Leading a team and influencing others
• Participation in 4 or more projects involving technology strategy definition/IT Strategy, cloud strategy, platform strategy, vendor selection, IT cost optimization and effectiveness, IT service delivery and technology outsourcing advisory, technology capability and skillset assessments, digital transformation architecture blueprinting and roadmaps, digital technology spend optimization, IT transformation roadmap development, IT service management assessment, data management strategy and architecture, IT process and tool deployment, IT governance, operating model and delivery model assessment, IT financial management analysis, or enterprise and solution architecture
• Proficiency in Process Frameworks: IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL), ISO 20000, COBiT
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university with strong undergraduate academic record

Qualifications

• 6+ years of management consulting experience focused on technology strategy and transformation

Nice to Have

• Undergraduate degree with focus on Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Technology, Systems Engineering or equivalent
• Advanced degree in business (i.e., MBA) or area of specialization
• 6+ years of experience leading technology issues and trends, including the associated business implications within one or more industries
• 6+ years of experience in the consulting services sales pursuit & proposal process
• 6+ years of experience with Scenario Planning/Modeling
• Knowledge of or experience in broader G&A functions (i.e., HR, IT, Finance, Procurement, Commercial Operations)
• Basic understanding of core digital technologies (e.g., CRM, E-Commerce, Content Management)
