Operate a 26 ft box truck to deliver and install household appliances for residential and commercial customers. This role requires driving expertise, physical capability, and technical proficiency to ensure safe installations and provide exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities
- Operate a 26 ft box truck for local multi-stop delivery routes
- Load, deliver, and install household appliances (washers, dryers, refrigerators, dishwashers, ranges, cooktops, etc.)
- Safely handle equipment using dollies, lifting straps, and handheld tools
- Connect basic water lines, valves, and electrical components
- Use mobile devices to confirm deliveries and maintain accurate records
- Deliver exceptional customer service to homeowners, builders, and clients
- Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections and follow all safety protocols
Requirements
- Ability to lift/pull/push/load/unload/move 100+ lbs. using proper equipment
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Comfort with GPS navigation and smartphone apps
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to pass background check and DOT physical
Nice to Have
- Experience driving box trucks or delivery vehicles
- Familiarity with appliance installation tools and basic plumbing/electrical
