About This Role

This Technician role provides critical data to doctors for patient care by performing administrative and clinical functions, including patient histories, preliminary testing, and assisting during exams.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for eye examinations by communicating the features and benefits of preliminary testing procedures
• Perform all preliminary and any doctor requested tests on all patients
• Assist optometrist and ophthalmologist with patient procedures
• Coordinate patient scheduling and monitor patient flow throughout the office, properly communicating delays
• Prepare exam room by cleaning instruments and maintaining inventory of medications and supplies
• Provide a safe, clean, organized and inviting environment for both patients and staff
