Technician I - Mico LSS

About This Role

Process and track laboratory specimens through pre-analytical stages, resolve client issues, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

• Manage pre-analytical processes for laboratory specimens including collection, packaging, shipping, receiving, processing, tracking, and archiving.
• Address and resolve specimen-related issues with Eurofins DPT clients.
• Recommend changes to services, processes, and policies to improve pre-analytical efficiencies.
• Collaborate with Quality Assurance to investigate and resolve client complaints.
• Contribute to team efforts by completing related tasks as needed.
• Perform duties in compliance with all applicable regulatory and accrediting agency requirements.
• Assist departments with routine operations as needed.
• Support Eurofins DPT’s business philosophy, leadership values, and ethics.
• Adhere to Eurofins DPT’s quality management system standards, including good workmanship, standard operational procedures, training, good documentation practices, and accurate recordkeeping.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent
• 0-2 years of experience
• Good customer service skills
• Strong Communication Skills
• Strong analytical skills

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent
• 0-2 years of experience; new to the clinical laboratory testing environment
