About This Role

Create clear, concise, and accurate documentation for the HPC organization’s software products, services, and processes. This role requires strong writing skills and the ability to translate complex information into user-friendly content.

Responsibilities

• Create clear, concise, and accurate documentation for the HPC organization’s software products, services, and processes
• Translate complex information into user-friendly content

Requirements

• Six (6) years’ experience as a Technical Writer in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity
• Familiar with the Linux CLI including understanding of terminology used to provide related documentation
• Experience using technical writing tools such as MS Office Tool Suite, MadCap Flare, and Adobe FrameMaker
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail
• Experience implementing complex documentation practices within a software development environment
• Experience using markup languages including HTML, XML, and Markdown
• Experience creating technical documentation for a wide audience
• Experience using the Atlassian Tool Suite (JIRA, Confluence)
• Experience with Git Source Control System

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university
• Six (6) years’ experience as a Technical Writer in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity

Nice to Have

• Familiar with Agile software development methodologies
• Knowledge of the software development lifecycle
