Technical Project Manager Principal

About This Role

This role provides strategic project support for information technology teams, focusing on timely and budget-compliant project delivery while managing risks and ensuring quality standards. It involves coordinating technical and business aspects of projects to meet established deadlines and strategic objectives.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic project support for information technology teams
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and conform to quality standards while mitigating risks and constraints
• Manage IT activities of both external and internal resources
• Manage project relations and communications between business and technical members
• Develop and execute project management plans to ensure process methodologies compliance
• Plan and coordinate activities to ensure project goals are met within defined scope, time, and cost constraints
• Develop strong working relationships with all key stakeholders
• Facilitate stakeholder analysis to ensure requirement definition alignment with project scope
• Perform project communication planning, information distribution, progress reporting, and overall project administration
• Proactively identify and plan for potential risks, build contingency plans, and take action to mitigate risks

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business or equivalent work experience
• Seven plus (7+) years’ relevant experience in project and process planning and management
• Advanced analytical and problem solving skills
• Ability to effectively lead multiple projects
• Strong organizational, time management, interpersonal skills
• Comprehensive computer skills using Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Business Objects
• Comprehensive presentation, verbal and written communication skills

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business or equivalent work experience
• Seven plus (7+) years’ relevant experience in project and process planning and management

Nice to Have

• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
• Knowledge of cross functional departmental processes
