This role provides strategic project support for information technology teams, focusing on timely and budget-compliant project delivery while managing risks and ensuring quality standards. It involves coordinating technical and business aspects of projects to meet established deadlines and strategic objectives.
Responsibilities
- Provide strategic project support for information technology teams
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and conform to quality standards while mitigating risks and constraints
- Manage IT activities of both external and internal resources
- Manage project relations and communications between business and technical members
- Develop and execute project management plans to ensure process methodologies compliance
- Plan and coordinate activities to ensure project goals are met within defined scope, time, and cost constraints
- Develop strong working relationships with all key stakeholders
- Facilitate stakeholder analysis to ensure requirement definition alignment with project scope
- Perform project communication planning, information distribution, progress reporting, and overall project administration
- Proactively identify and plan for potential risks, build contingency plans, and take action to mitigate risks
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or equivalent work experience
- Seven plus (7+) years’ relevant experience in project and process planning and management
- Advanced analytical and problem solving skills
- Ability to effectively lead multiple projects
- Strong organizational, time management, interpersonal skills
- Comprehensive computer skills using Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Business Objects
- Comprehensive presentation, verbal and written communication skills
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or equivalent work experience
- Seven plus (7+) years’ relevant experience in project and process planning and management
Nice to Have
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
- Knowledge of cross functional departmental processes
