Courier Feeder Agent Non-DOT

About This Role

Operate company vehicles to deliver and pick up packages, ensuring shipments conform to FedEx standards. Coordinate operations for feeder aircraft loading/unloading and maintain a professional appearance.

Responsibilities

• Operate company vehicles for delivery and pick-up of packages
• Check shipments for conformance to FedEx features of service
• Coordinate all operations related to the interface between feeder aircraft loading/unloading activities
• Lift up to 50 lbs and maneuver packages of any weight above 50 lbs with appropriate equipment and/or assistance
• Communicate verbally in a time-sensitive manner in noisy operations environment
• Maintain neat appearance for customer contact

Requirements

• High School Diploma/G.E.D.
• Licensed for type of vehicle assigned
• Ability to successfully complete basic and/or recurrent training/testing
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Ability to maneuver packages of any weight above 50 lbs with appropriate equipment and/or assistance from another person
• Good human relations and verbal communication skills
• Ability to effectively communicate verbally in a time sensitive manner in noisy operations environment
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Ability to read and speak the English language sufficiently to understand traffic signs, communicate with traffic safety officials and to respond to official inquiries and directions
