Ramp Agent - Trunk (Non-DOT)

About This Role

Coordinate all ground operations at the station, focusing on the interface between aircraft loading and unloading activities. This entry-level role is critical for efficient package transportation.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate all station ground operations related to aircraft loading/unloading activities
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• High school diploma/GED
• Ability to complete basic and/or recurrent training/testing
• Ability to properly identify and prioritize loading/unloading procedures
• Ability to lift 50 lbs
• Ability to maneuver packages of any weight above 50 lbs with appropriate equipment and/or assistance
• Ability to operate GSE
• Knowledge of FAMIS/FedEx computer systems
• Good human relations and verbal communication skills
• Ability to read and speak the English language sufficiently to understand traffic signs, communicate with traffic safety officials and to respond to official inquiries and directions

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED
• No prior experience required

Nice to Have

• Six (6) months FedEx handler experience
• 3 months work experience in Ramp area
