Technical Product Manager

About This Role

This Technical Product Manager leads a large-scale software development initiative for a global media and entertainment client, defining product strategy and guiding features from concept to delivery. The role involves partnering with engineering, operations, and cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with business goals.

Responsibilities

• Define and communicate a clear product vision and strategy aligned with business goals
• Develop and maintain a detailed product roadmap, including feature definitions and timelines
• Translate customer and stakeholder needs into comprehensive product requirements
• Partner with engineering and design teams to ensure clarity, feasibility, and alignment
• Write use cases and user stories; collaborate with engineering leads to prioritize features and enhancements
• Communicate roadmap updates and product strategy to stakeholders and leadership
• Oversee development teams to ensure delivery of high-quality software solutions
• Define and manage testing processes to ensure products are defect-free prior to User Acceptance Testing
• Facilitate User Acceptance Testing, including rollout planning and execution
• Present updates to steering committees or project sponsors
• Develop, track, and manage project plans, timelines, and scope

Requirements

• 5-10+ years of Product Management experience, including hands-on work with software products
• Proven success delivering technology and business application solutions across large, multi-platform environments throughout the full product lifecycle
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and Agile/Scrum leadership skills
• Ability to translate complex needs into actionable requirements
• Experience writing use cases, user stories, and detailed product specifications
• Ability to collaborate effectively with engineering, design, and business partners at all levels
• Skilled in assessing risk, managing scope, and driving clarity in fast-moving environments
• Strong people management and team-building abilities
• Flexibility, sound judgment, and the ability to manage competing priorities

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field; advanced degrees (such as an MBA) preferred
• 5-10+ years of Product Management experience, including hands-on work with software products.
