About This Role

This team member role involves interacting with customers and colleagues to support sales initiatives and perform various tasks, all while ensuring a legendary customer experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintain regular and predictable attendance
• Work scheduled shifts, including varied hours, days, nights, weekends, and overtime as business needs dictate
• Deliver Legendary Customer Service through GURA (Greet, Uncover Needs, Recommend Solutions, Ask to Add Value & Appreciate)
• Operate cash register/computer following cash handling procedures
• Perform recovery of merchandise
• Participate in mandatory freight process
• Complete Plan-o-gram procedures (merchandising, sets, and resets)
• Assemble merchandise
• Perform janitorial duties
• Execute price changes/markdowns
• Operate Forklift (if over 18)
• Operate Cardboard Baler (if over 18)
• Assist customers with loading purchases
• Ensure the safety and well-being of birds, including sanitizing poultry holding tanks and caring for birds
• Complete all documentation associated with job duties

Requirements

• Ability to read, write and count accurately

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred, but not required.
• No experience required.

Nice to Have

• Retail experience
• Farming, ranching, pet/equine, or welding knowledge
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Basic computer skills
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to resolve issues ethically and with minimal conflict
