About This Role

Lead and inspire a team of Support Workers at Montgomery House, empowering adults with mental health needs or learning disabilities to live fuller, more independent lives. This role involves supporting the Service Manager, mentoring staff, and ensuring high-quality, person-centered care.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Service Manager with the smooth running of the service
  • Lead, supervise, and mentor Support Workers
  • Encourage independence and positive daily living for the people supported
  • Administer medication safely and in line with best practice
  • Allocate shifts and duties to ensure consistent, high-quality care
  • Champion person-centred care and build positive relationships with families
  • Maintain accurate, respectful records
  • Promote safeguarding, dignity, and confidentiality at all times

Requirements

  • Experience supporting adults with mental health needs or learning disabilities (in inpatient or challenging settings)
  • Leadership experience or ambition to take that next step
  • Calm, resilient, and compassionate approach
  • Strong communication and team-working skills
  • Right to work in the UK

Qualifications

  • Level 2 or 3 in Health & Social Care (or working towards)

Nice to Have

  • Experience with substance misuse
