Tax Technology Consulting - SAP Tax Manager

About This Role

As a Manager in Tax Technology Consulting, you will help companies implement tax solutions related to SAP ERP systems and tax applications. This role involves managing client interactions, delivering engagement components, and developing innovative technology solutions for tax needs.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day interactions with executive clients and sponsors
• Manage and deliver components of SAP or indirect tax engine client engagements
• Identify, design, and implement technology and innovative solutions to address tax needs
• Understand and articulate the broader TTC practice and Deloitte overall, maintaining client relationships
• Perform role of counselor and coach, and participate in staffing and retention activities
• Develop and maintain contacts, organize and lead pursuit teams, and contribute to business development

Requirements

• Ability to perform job responsibilities within a hybrid work model (2-3 days in office)
• 5+ years' experience in implementation of tax related solutions in SAP including direct tax (corporate income tax, operational transfer pricing, state income taxation) and indirect tax (transaction tax) solutions using native SAP functionality, ONESOURCE Indirect Determination, Vertex, Avalara, Sovos (Taxware)
• Bachelor's degree
• One of the following active accreditations: CPA, Licensed Attorney, Enrolled Agent, PMP, MCSE, CSPO, PSD, CSD, Microsoft Azure, Microsoft MCSD, CSSLP -(ISC)2, Oracle Certified Professional, Alteryx Designer- Advanced Certification, Six Sigma (Green or Black Belt), AWS, GCP
• Ability to travel up to 50%

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree
• 5+ years' experience in implementation of tax related solutions in SAP

Nice to Have

• Experience with a Big 4 firm, large ERP/consulting organization, or a large IT department of a multinational company with tax related experience
