Task Associate

About This Role

The Task Associate ensures operational excellence by maintaining stocked merchandise and store cleanliness, supporting sales drivers and delivering an exceptional guest experience. This role focuses on performance, people, and process to achieve store goals.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all tasks are executed as planned and product is available for purchase to meet retail goals
• Complete operational processes, including shipment, replenishment, merchandise sets, and inventory counts
• Maintain prompt, regular attendance
• Contribute to an inclusive environment that supports teammates, peers, and guests
• Participate in ongoing training, including brand and category education
• Ensure compliance with Ulta Beauty’s policies, procedures, and standards
• Complete merchandise resets, planograms, marketing displays, and physical inventory procedures
• Process shipments using Ulta Beauty’s technology and best practices
• Maintain outstanding store standards and overall store cleanliness across all areas
• Protect company assets by following loss prevention best practices and providing exceptional guest service

Requirements

• Ability to work a flexible schedule to include early morning shifts, days, evenings, weekends, overnights, and holidays

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred
• 1 year of relevant work experience or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience preferred

Nice to Have

• 1 year of relevant work experience or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience
• High school diploma
• Proficient with basic technology (e.g., Point of Sale system and Apple devices)
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to problem solve
