Task Associate

About This Role

The Task Associate (TA) at Ulta Beauty is responsible for operational excellence, supporting sales drivers by ensuring fixtures are stocked, maintaining store cleanliness, and completing assigned tasks. This role supports the Merchandise Manager and Operations Manager through a focus on performance, people, and process.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to meeting or exceeding store retail goals by ensuring tasks are executed and product is available.
• Meet compliance and execution goals related to the task dashboard and complete operational processes, including shipment, replenishment, merchandise sets, and inventory counts.
• Maintain prompt, regular attendance.
• Contribute to an inclusive environment that supports teammates, peers, and guests.
• Participate in ongoing training for professional development and sales performance.
• Ensure compliance with Ulta Beauty’s policies, procedures, and standards.
• Complete merchandise resets, planograms, marketing displays, physical inventory procedures, and process shipments.
• Maintain outstanding store standards and overall store cleanliness.

Requirements

• Proficient with basic technology (e.g., Point of Sale system and Apple devices)
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to problem solve
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including early mornings, days, evenings, weekends, overnights, and holidays
• Continuous mobility, frequent standing, bending, pulling, pushing, reaching, and twisting
• Ability to continuously and/or frequently lift, carry, and/or move up to 25 lbs.
• Continuous coordination and manipulation of objects

Qualifications

• High school diploma is preferred.
• 1 year of relevant work experience or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience preferred.
