Task Associate

About This Role

The Task Associate delivers operational excellence by ensuring merchandise is stocked, maintaining store cleanliness, and completing assigned tasks to support sales drivers and provide an exceptional Ulta Beauty guest experience.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to meeting or exceeding store retail goals by ensuring tasks are executed as planned and products are available for purchase
• Meet compliance and execution goals related to task dashboard and ensure timely completion of operational processes including shipment, replenishment, merchandise sets, and inventory counts
• Maintain prompt, regular attendance
• Contribute to an inclusive environment that supports teammates, peers, and internal/external guests
• Regularly participate in ongoing training, including brand and category education, to enable continuous professional development
• Ensure compliance with Ulta Beauty’s policies, procedures, and standards
• Complete merchandise resets, planograms, marketing displays, physical inventory procedures, and process shipments using Ulta Beauty’s technology and best practices
• Drive operational excellence by keeping assigned work area replenished, signed, faced, and ensuring testers are available
• Maintain outstanding store standards and overall store cleanliness including salesfloor, restrooms, cashwrap, backroom, and break area
• Protect company assets by following loss prevention best practices and providing exceptional guest service

Requirements

• Ability to work a flexible schedule to include early morning shifts, days, evenings, weekends, overnights, and holidays

Qualifications

• High school diploma is preferred
• 1 year of relevant work experience or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience preferred

Nice to Have

• 1 year of relevant work experience
• Proficiency with basic technology (e.g., Point of Sale system and Apple devices)
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to problem solve
