Systems Engineer 4 - Systems Architecting Requirements & Interfaces

About This Role

The Fountain Group is seeking a motivated and talented Systems Engineer to join their Systems Engineering team in St. Charles, Missouri. This role involves applying an interdisciplinary, collaborative approach to plan, design, develop, and verify life-cycle balanced system solutions for high-tech weapon systems.

Responsibilities

• Apply an interdisciplinary, collaborative approach to plan, design, develop, and verify system of systems and system solutions
• Define system performance (requirements), integrate technical parameters, and assure compatibility of all physical, functional and program interfaces
• Perform affordability, safety, reliability, maintainability, testability, human systems integration, survivability, vulnerability, susceptibility, system security, regulatory, certification, product assurance and other specialties engineering analyses

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related
• 9+ years of experience or equivalent
• Experience/domain knowledge of system architecture, requirements, interface definition, verification, and validation
• DoD background
• Ability to obtain secret clearance
• Model-Based Engineering (MBSE) tools such as Cameo or similar

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related
• 9+ years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience

Nice to Have

• High-tech weapon systems experience
