Survey Project Manager

About This Role

Manage survey projects from scope development to completion, balance workload and resources, and support business development efforts. Cultivate client relationships and provide technical expertise in land surveying within an employee-owned firm.

Responsibilities

• Manage projects including developing scope of work, schedule and fee
• Balance workload and resources
• Support business development efforts, leading the preparation of proposals
• Develop and maintain existing client relationships, serving as key contact
• Conduct critical negotiations and handle controversial issues
• Apply extensive knowledge of standard practices for land surveying for complex assignments
• Supervise a project team, ensuring follow through on all project aspects
• Monitor budget and progress and manage A/R collections
• Provide technical, design and project management services in support of surveying
• Supervise staff members including coaching and mentoring

Requirements

• Delaware PLS license
• 2 or more years of post-licensure experience
• Proficient with MS Word and Excel
• Proficient with Autocad/Civil3D
• Valid driver's license and an acceptable motor vehicle record

Qualifications

• 2 or more years of post-licensure experience
