About This Role

The Supply Chain Analyst will conduct inventory analysis across multiple warehouses and enhance supply chain operations by focusing on demand planning, forecast utilization, and optimal stocking levels. This role aims to optimize delivery performance, reduce costs, and ensure data integrity within the SIOP process.

Responsibilities

  • Review inventory movement for each warehouse to determine sufficient material on-hand
  • Generate planning reports, analyze, and order product to meet/exceed sales forecast while maintaining target inventory turns
  • Determine and maintain optimal stock levels nationwide through stock transfers
  • Track KPIs such as stock out %, actual stock vs planned stock and weekly purchases vs planned
  • Support monthly SIOP process through strategic demand planning using sales and purchasing/production reports
  • Own data integrity for all materials of responsibility
  • Compile reports of purchases and transfers (e.g., number of containers build, timing of receipts)
  • Verify bills from suppliers with bids and purchase orders and forward documentation for payment approval
  • Manage MRO, Lease, and Service purchases
  • Work with sales to determine delivery requirements
  • Expedite freight, as needed
  • Handle special freight requirements and special equipment, as needed

Requirements

  • 5+ years of working experience in supply chain
  • Strong computer skills including proficiency with SAP, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook
  • Basic understanding of lean operating principles
  • Strong understanding of supply chain cycle, Manufacturing, organization structures and key metrics

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university, preferably in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Operations, Business Administration or other applicable fields.
  • 5+ years of working experience

Nice to Have

  • Experience with enterprise procurement and sourcing under very tight deadlines
  • Experience with Logility
  • Ability to perform basic financial picture of vendor proposals, supply chain costs, new project deployment ROI and payback periods
