This role supervises a team of program managers to implement building electrification programs, focusing on budget oversight, energy savings goals, and regulatory compliance. The supervisor influences strategic direction, monitors program performance, and resolves customer and regulatory issues for Pacific Gas and Electric Company.
Responsibilities
- Lead a team of 4+ direct report program managers in developing and implementing PG&E’s building electrification strategy and programs
- Ensure real-time view of customer needs, industry direction, business impacts, risks, and opportunities to influence strategic direction
- Develop, monitor, analyze, and manage operating budgets for programs
- Determine performance metrics to monitor and report on business performance results to senior leadership
- Monitor program performance and energy savings achievements, working with internal channels to achieve targets
- Interpret CPUC compliance mandates and resolve regulatory issues and disputes with the Law department
- Respond to and resolve external and internal customer escalations and issues
- Work with the Energy Efficiency Policy Manager on CPUC outreach to strengthen relations and mitigate risks
- Establish clear expectations and goals, and build team development through recruitment, training, performance management, and coaching
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- 5 years of work experience
