This role coordinates regulatory proceedings by managing documentation, communications, and logistical support for the Project Management Team. The coordinator ensures compliance with regulations and effectively disseminates information among internal and external stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate the production, filing, distribution, and posting of regulatory documents, including testimony, workpapers, and responses to data requests
- Ensure final documents are accurate, complete, and properly protect confidential information
- Serve documents to service lists in compliance with CPUC Rules of Practice and Procedure or FERC regulations
- Inform the case manager of any issues that may impact due dates
- Ensure all final case documents are posted in Regulatory Affairs’ records retention system
- Manage CPUC or FERC staff and intervener requests for document access
- Assist the case manager in ensuring team members and witnesses follow Regulatory Affairs’ regulatory processes
- Communicate clearly with regulatory agency staff and interveners regarding data request status and routine inquiries
- Manage team SharePoint sites to provide ready access to case documents and prevent version control issues
- Assist with witness training, gather documents for hearings, manage logistics, and attend hearings to develop/maintain the case’s exhibit list
- Schedule team meetings and meetings/workshops with regulatory agencies and other parties
- Continually seek and propose opportunities to improve processes and procedures
Requirements
- Two-year college degree or equivalent work-related experience
- 1 year of related experience

Nice to Have
- Basic understanding of the regulatory environment
- Strong knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Skilled in using WebDocs, CPUC and FERC websites
- Skilled in using SharePoint or document sharing software for drafting
- Good verbal, written communications skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Good project management skills
