Student Extern - Enterprise Dev & Integration

About This Role

The Student Extern provides technical assistance to various teams, gaining hands-on experience and developing job-related skills in an enterprise IT environment. This role supports system analysis, troubleshooting, documentation, and technical maintenance tasks under supervision, while learning from skilled IT professionals.

Responsibilities

• Analyze source documents, database structures, and reporting requirements to support system functionality.
• Assist in diagnosing system issues and contribute to proposing thoughtful technical solutions.
• Monitor system health and performance, identifying opportunities for improvement.
• Support the resolution of hardware, software, operating system, and system integration issues under guidance.
• Assist with keeping operating systems updated in accordance with established standards.
• Document system environments, configurations, and changes accurately.
• Support routine updates and maintenance to keep systems current and stable.
• Learn enterprise IT tools, processes, and best practices through hands-on participation.
• Collaborate with team members across Enterprise Development & Integration.
• Apply troubleshooting, analytical, and documentation skills in real system environments.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• College bound or in-college student
• Willing to work part-time, 19 hours/week

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent and College bound or in-college students (Preferred: Bachelor's or Master's in Information Technology, Computer Science)
• None required, but must be willing to work part-time (19 hours/week).
