Clinical Nurse, Outpatient - PACU

Join our team as an experienced PACU Nurse in West Houston, delivering world-class cancer care to patients in their community. You will apply your nursing expertise to improve patient outcomes and contribute to a supportive healthcare environment.

Responsibilities

• Participate in daily unit operations to achieve financial goals by utilizing resources effectively and efficiently
• Provide quality and fiscally responsible patient care
• Proactively anticipate patient and family needs in collaboration with the Charge Nurse, Clinical Nurse Leader, and Nurse Manager
• Foster peer relationships and participate in coaching and mentoring
• Apply new and existing evidence in patient care standards, incorporating new knowledge, innovations, and improvements in clinical practice
• Comply with regulatory standards
• Demonstrate proficiency in the application of technology in providing care to patients and families
• Participate in assessing, coordinating, implementing, and evaluating the delivery of safe and effective patient and family care
• Participate in the evaluation of staff members' clinical performance
• Strengthen practice, build strong relationships, and develop partnerships to improve patient and family outcomes

Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited school of professional nursing
• Current State of Texas Professional Nursing license
• BLS or CPR certification
• ACLS certification if working in ASC Post Anesthesia
• PALS certification if working in ASC Post Anesthesia or Pedi - Child & Adolescent Center

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of professional nursing. Bachelor's Degree Nursing preferred.
• Minimum one year of RN experience, with prior PACU, ICU or Procedure experience preferred.
