Lead business development and strategy for Strategic Weapons and Nuclear, Command, Control and Communications (NC3) systems, defining business strategies, managing competitive landscapes, and securing new opportunities. Oversee proposal efforts and manage CRAD/BAA programs to drive growth within the Maritime and Strategic Systems Line of Business.
Responsibilities
- Define business strategies, competitive landscape, and investment for opportunities in Strategic Weapons and NC3 systems domain
- Leverage GDMS core competencies to develop customer and industry relationships, win strategies, and capture plans
- Provide oversight to all proposal efforts
- Execute new business and independent R&D funds
- Manage one or more CRAD/BAA programs
- Ensure project activities comply with contract and GDMS process requirements
- Ensure timely, cost-effective, and efficient project completion without compromising quality
- Assess market and opportunity sets, develop business and capture strategies
- Lead technical teams to position and win new opportunities
- Develop accurate and complete Bid and Proposals and ROMS
Requirements
- Department of Defense Top Secret security clearance
- U.S. citizenship
- Excellent understanding of strategic deterrence mission and its technical/integration challenges
- Excellent understanding of Nuclear Command, Control and Communication mission and its technical/integration challenges
- Expertise in strategic deterrence community mission operations, strategic systems, and contractor industrial base
- Strong knowledge of DOD acquisition process and policy
- Relevant past experience managing programs, project planning, monitoring and controls
- Expertise in assessing market, developing business/capture strategies, and leading technical teams
- Demonstrated ability to engage and influence across multiple customer organizations
- Strong communications skills, oral and written, with senior personnel
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or Master's degree
- Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience, or 8 years with a Master's degree, to meet managerial expectations. Five or more years of management experience in a related field or demonstrated leadership.
