Store Operations Data Analyst

About This Role

The Store Operations Data Analyst organizes and presents key business insights to field and corporate leadership using data analysis and visualization tools to help make important operational decisions and improve reporting systems.

Responsibilities

• Organize and present key business insights using data analysis and visualization tools
• Understand specific business problems and deliver meaningful insights from available data
• Perform analyses of performance KPIs, compliance, and other business needs
• Continuously improve reporting systems and analytical capabilities
• Present information and recommendations to management
• Initiate and monitor systems, process, and recurring reports to ensure accuracy and timely execution
• Document requirements for new dashboards, visualizations, and reports
• Assist with design and creation of new dashboards and reports
• Provide insight into existing operational reports and identify improvement opportunities
• Troubleshoot reporting database environment and reports
• Train end users on new reports and dashboards

Requirements

• 2 year or 4 year degree, preferably in Business, CIS, Computer Science, Economics or Mathematics
• Strong analytical skills
• Complex query statement construction experience (SQL/MySQL)
• Acute attention to detail
• Prior experience working with relational databases, large datasets, and ETL processes
• Experience transforming data into usable information for non-technical consumers
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and collaborative skills
• Proficient with Excel, Access, and Word
• Able to provide a high level of customer service

Qualifications

• 2 year or 4 year degree, preferably in Business, CIS, Computer Science, Economics or Mathematics.

Nice to Have

• DOMO or other BI Tools experience
• Excellent verbal/writing skills
• Self-motivated, able to work with limited supervision
• Experience in Automotive Retail or Service Industries
