Store Lead

About This Role

The Store Lead will oversee a specific department within the store, ensuring customer satisfaction and maintaining overall store standards. This role involves training associates, managing transactions, organizing merchandise, and contributing to a positive shopping experience in a leadership capacity.

Responsibilities

• Lead a store department and support overall store standards
• Greet and assist customers with a positive, helpful attitude
• Train and guide associates on service, product placement, and cash handling
• Handle transactions, returns, and safe/till counts as needed
• Organize merchandise and displays, assist with truck unloading and floor moves
• Promote current sales and programs
• Delegate tasks and communicate clearly with the team

Requirements

• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Confidence in taking initiative and leading by example
• Ability to learn and operate the POS system
• Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Must be at least 16 years old

Qualifications

• At least one year experience in retail, sales, or cash handling
